Review Nova ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify review management application.

Information We Collect

Store Information: When you install Review Nova, we collect your Shopify store domain, store name, and store owner email address through Shopify's APIs.

Review Data: We store product reviews submitted through your storefront, including reviewer display name, email address, rating, review title, and review body.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage analytics such as feature usage and API request counts to improve our service.

Customer Data: Review Nova does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any tracking technologies on your storefront. We do not collect data about your customers' browsing behavior or store visits. The only customer information we store is what a shopper voluntarily submits when writing a review.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Review Nova service
• To display reviews on your storefront via Shopify theme blocks
• To generate analytics and statistics about your reviews
• To communicate important service updates

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to provide the Review Nova service.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure hosted in Australia. Our application is hosted on Vercel. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Review Nova is based in Australia. If you are located outside Australia, please be aware that your data may be processed and stored in a different jurisdiction.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Shopify: Platform integration, billing, and authentication
• Supabase: Database hosting and storage
• Vercel: Application hosting

These providers have their own privacy policies governing their handling of data. No other third-party services receive your data.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have Review Nova installed. Upon uninstallation, your store data and associated reviews are retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, allowing for re-installation without data loss.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Shopify merchants can also delete individual reviews through the admin panel. We respond to all data requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date.
