Shopify Flow Integration

Review Nova sends events to Shopify Flow so you can build automations around your reviews. No setup needed on your end. If you have Shopify Flow installed, the triggers are available automatically.

Available Triggers

Review Created

Fires when a customer submits a new review. This happens before moderation, so you can use it to notify your team that a review is waiting for approval.

Example workflows:

• Send a Slack message to your team when a new review comes in
• Tag the customer in Shopify so you know they left a review
• Log the review in a Google Sheet

Review Approved

Fires when a review is approved (either manually or via auto-approve). Use this for anything you want to happen after a review goes live on your store.

Example workflows:

• Send a thank-you email to the customer
• Post the review to a social media channel
• Add loyalty points for the customer

Data Included

Both triggers include:

• Product the review is for
• Customer who submitted it (if logged in)
• Rating (1 to 5 stars)
• Comment text
• Reviewer name
• Source (submitted by customer or imported via CSV)
• Status (pending or approved)

Getting Started

1. Make sure Shopify Flow is installed on your store (free for all Shopify plans)
2. Open Shopify Flow from your admin
3. Create a new workflow and search for "Review Nova" in the trigger list
4. Choose either Review Created or Review Approved
5. Add your actions and turn on the workflow
